VAC/ YG Carmel 2 ?
All
Just wondering if the VAC 200IQ / YG Carmel 2 combo would work? I have never heard them together.
YG Acoustics is recommending tube amplification of 100w output.
I am contemplating the Rockport Atria II and YG Carmel 2 but only listened to the latter.

Re: VAC/ YG Carmel 2 ?
I listened to the YG via Mark Levinson no 585 integrated at the dealer’s and sounded very good to my ears and will be interesting to hear them on the VAC.
My dealer had the Kharma S7S setup with the VAC and being two-way ported speakers they did produce a good soundstage and overall control but a sealed box speaker should essentially mean better low-end performance and will suit my listening space in a condo.
I also pondered changing to either Vitus, Gryphon or Boulder amplification to suit the YGs , which goes to show the impact the speakers have on my choice of amplification.
