VAC Signature 200iQ Review

Mike.......Good review. $14K for a fully balanced, self biasing, 100 watt per channel stereo tube power amplifier is not a bad price point in the VAC lineup. This amp will be a hot seller.

What would you guys pick : VAC Master line stage + VAC Signature 200iq monoblocks or Aries Cerat Impera ll Sig + Aries Cerat Concero 65 Sig ?
 
For the look alone i like Audio Research GS150. much more. It looks stunning in my eyes :)

VAC all day long. I’ve see the pride of workmanship on a weekly basis since the factory is literally 5 minutes from my store.

I would guess you haven't heard the Aries Cerat combo above. Not a fair comment if you haven't.

I have heard it. Check back from my photos from shows. I believe those were the same models? Aries Cerat is good, but I prefer the VAC. Also, I can’t get over the look.

Guess you were wrong which means your comment wasn't fair if you didn't know Mike has heard your favored combo. The irony...

Which is a fair comment, you don't like their look, thats your preference. I don't believe you have heard what Theiliste was asking about.

Well, I heard that combo at the last CES I attended, and similar system at RMAF. I’ve heard various iterations of Aries Cerat gear at pretty much every show over the past 2 years. Nothing against the sound, just not what I would buy vs VAC - a company that has been in business a lot longer. I also find the VAC combo more dynamic and just as organic. Maybe the looks of the Aries Cerat stuff will grow on me over time. Don’t know.
