    Looking at new turntables tomorrow

    Going to a local dealer tomorrow going to hopefully see a Kuzma, Rega, Oracle and a used AVID

    I think Rob gave you some very good advice.

    I agree, part of me wants to listen to new gear. I have a couple of reasons the VPI doesn’t thrill me the way it use to and they maybe foolish but they now effect how I look at the table (and listen). I also will be checking out a digital piece or two since my AMR CD player is acting up. AMR will look at the transport and see if it can be repaired, I think it needs a new optical pickup. I also do not have any idea what this dealer does with pricing. Soon the end I may just wait and do the Blackbird.

    Had a nice day but was a misunderstanding on what tables were there and what he carries. The AVID sounded nice. The used AVID was the Acutus base model with an SME IV arm an an Air Tight PC3 mc cart
