Re: Vertere Reference
Gary Koh had the arm mounted on an Air Force One at a recent CES. Hard to say much about the sound.
I think the table and arm are on display at the SF show this weekend.
Touraj is also working on a less expensive version of his arm.
Yes the arm is expensive, but the Vertere arm is basically made in small batches in a F1 racing machine shop that adds considerably to the cost. I think when one looks at Vertere or the Axiom arm, there's no escaping seeing the thought that went into the design of the arm and getting the *most* out of *every* cartridge one might mount in it.Myles B. Re: Vertere Reference
I have talked via email with Gary and others no doubt it is a great arm how much of a change from my tri planner I have no idea. I am sure it would be better and as the say they do not call it a TONE arm for no reason . A luxury buy for sure their is no way to say I need it, but I want it works. Something new for the cat to play with thou both cats have always left the table alone so far .
By the way myles the Lyra Atlas is breaking in nicely big change from the Ortofon spu royal N and the Shelter before it.

Is this arm meant to be a production item, or a limited release?

I upgraded the power supply on my Gigafoil v4 to a Weiss PSU 102. It’s very nice step up. But with the new model, you’re looking at $2000 before even investing in a SOTA linear power supply.
