There was tremendous interest in the new Wyred 4 Sound statement nextGEN amplifier at the RMAF in Denver this past weekend. The new amplifier is using a brand new proprietary Class D that EJ Sarmento has designed from the ground up. Five years in development (counting an earlier prototype that won Best of Show two years ago).

I heard many people saying it was one of the best sounding amplifiers at the show! Wyred will be trying to get it into full production as soon as possible.
 
Well, from my understanding a prototype Statement amplifier was shown two years ago and won best of show award. The new statement nextGEN has been further refined and is truly next generation. A Class D not using anyone else's chips. Designed from ground up by EJ. A big leap forward in design and sound quality and is the next generation for amplifier technology. The first truly "new" technology in amplifier design in quite some time. Therefore, nextGEN!

People were going crazy over the new amplifier at the Denver show. Stereophile rating W4S system with "The Big Boys"; https://www.stereophile.com/content/jason-visits-big-boys-rmaf, watching Steven Stone (from The Absolute Sound) asking EJ for a review unit when he saw the long awaited amplifier on display, and then having a private listening session; getting into the music, appearing to love it more than I have ever seen a reviewer at a show.

Yea, NextGen is very fitting :D....
 
Our original prototype was demonstrated two years ago and was very well received. The new amplifier has been updated and improved over the original statement. It is the next generation of the statement technology! We feel that EJ's new Class D design is finally ready for prime time!

Someone is about to release a paper continuing Einstein's efforts in the field of relativity regarding the spacetime continuum. They will be calling it: "more stuff" .

I guess all the creativity was spent with the creation of the new product, and non was left over for the name. Oh well.....

Well, from my understanding, the proto-type shown a couple years ago was called the statement amplifier. That one received rave reviews including a best of show award. This is a redesigned and improved version... therefore the next generation of the statement amplifier. Therefore statement nextGEN.... or so what I have been told. But of course, people always form their own opinions.

By the way, this is the amplifier model name. I have yet to hear an actually name for the new amplifier design. From what I have been told, there are no plans on licensing it out, at this point in time. So names such as ICE or NCore are not yet required :)....

Any chance to get a Multichannel AMP in the near future, based on that new design?
