I can’t believe that the Canadian soccer team is considered “good”. SMH.

Hockey, world dominance or at least outstanding. But soccer? Canada? Geez. I gotta see this.

The government in Qutar band alcohol sales at the last minuet for all games in the country. You can bet that went over well.

Budwiser posted a picture of a warehouse full of cases of world cup beer cans that can't be distributed.

They announced that what ever country wins the WC will be given all of the beer that couldn't be sold.
 
World Cup in November, without Budweiser, and everything else in and out.
May the best team win and everyone happy. Without fighting, without mass hysteria, without scandals, without corruption, without money goals, without chaos.

And add Iran into the group to ‘spice’ things up a bit. England gave them a proper thumping this morning to kick things off.

So many questions about why Qatar but they will become political too quickly. Glad I am not there and can mute the fake crowd noise.
 
i think its entertainment as never ever before, lol, and i wish to be there.
nice temperatures there, all the stadiums are all close together, and tickets are available.

anybody watching usa-wales? right now! as far as i know, soccer is a very small thing in usa.

"Saudi Arabia has declared November 23 (Wednesday) as a public holiday in the kingdom to celebrate its historic win against Argentina in the Fifa World Cup in Qatar.

It applies to all employees in both public and private sectors, as well as all students across the country. The Saudi stock exchange will be closed on Wednesday and will reopen on Thursday, state TV reported on Tuesday.

i was surprised how good the canadians were against the famous belgians. at least as good.

usa played very well too in game 1 against wales. first half was fresh direct fast soccer, second half they were a bit out of power. game 2 against worldclass england, wow, they fighted them very well as a team, england didnt know what to do. i think they will qualify for next round.

thumbs up for the saudis and japan for theyr incredible victories. so nice to watch.
 
Saudi Government bought every member of the team the beat Argentina a 2023 Rolls Royce Phantom. Even if you can't afford the cost of a $420,000 car, you can always sell it.
 
my country got hammered brutally by portugal, 1-6, no chance at all.
now the cup really starts, most often quarter and semifinals are the best games of a tournament.
france-england will be killer i hope.
