Why did you choose Siltech?

I'd like to hear from people about how they came to choose Siltech. I eventually started to use my first Siltech cable in my system as a phono cable when I bought my first turntable in 2013. Here's how the journey played out....
.... I remember coming to the conclusion that I was chasing the wrong idea as in what would give me the most pleasure in a system. The gear was very neutral sounding to the point of being too harsh which served a valuable lesson for my next foray into gear swapping land.Over a period of about 5 years & some absolutely awesome gear I now know exactly what I want & how to get it.
My first venture into good cable was copper & although it was a happy one at the time I just had to try silver. WOW! That really showed any flaws in my system & made me think about just what & wasn't brought to the tone with the different metals. I now want silver & gold in my signal path as it is certainly how we were supposed to hear things imo! These metals deliver the range & textures to how it is, they don't sugar coat, don't bring the hash nor the molasses. Going from very good silver cables to supposedly some of the best copper cables at the time wasn't a step forward but a waste of money imo because it only stripped me of available funds that could have been put toward the contenders.
I now have 3 things in my system that won't be going anywhere soon, Soulution, Wilson Benesch & the best cables that I have heard, Siltech!

I bought a pair of Ruby Mountain II G7 with Furutech FI50 Rhodium terminations for the McIntosh MC2301s after learning about their zero emissions. Undoubtedly the best constructed power cable in that regard, clean and authoritative. Perfect for tube amplifiers. I paired them with Furutech Flux-50 and the combination is fabulous.

At the same time, I was trialing Shunyata Zitron Anacondas and comparing them side-by-side to the Siltech and also Furutech power cables. This included performing some emissions testing. Not surprisingly, the Shunyata Anacondas being unshielded internally gave the worst readings. They were also within 200mm of the proximity of the tube amplifiers which adversely affected their performance causing the sound to flatten 2 dimensionally.

I got slammed by Shunyata and moderated on another forum for posting my experiences.

No sweat, Shunyata discontinued them and from what I understand they haven't made an unshielded cable since.

As for the Siltech, I can categorically state that they emit ZERO emissions. You can even lay this cable on top of the amplifier and over the tubes while running and it will not alter the amplifiers' performances.

I went on to buy a Siltech i770 RCA cable as I needed an additional RCA at the time. I have listened to Siltech Queen in another system. After hearing those interconnects, I swore to myself that I would one day buy some Royal Signature cables. Now that I just purchased a second pre-amp, I have the excuse to do just that!
