....or someone else?

Mike,
Tough choice with so many top notch musicians but for me the choice would be Freddy Mercury (Queen). I did not have the good fortune of seeing them live but the video of their shows is able to convey the magnificence of their live performances.

Indeed, very tough choice... I had the chance to see Michael Jackson's Bad tour in 1988 and it was the most impressive concert I ever saw. But I never had the chance to see Queen live even if I always was and still am a big fan of the early Queen.... so my vote goes to Freddy ;-)

Too many to choose from at this point, but because of stupidity or bad luck, I have to say Miles Davis.

I had passed him by forever and never had a chance to see him play live. He played a local venue 15 minutes from me for several years in a row. I was all set to buy tickets and something came up. I decided that since he comes every year, I will catch him next time.

Well, it turned out that the show I passed up was his last live performance, at the Keswick Theater in Glenside PA, and he died two weeks or so later. I have been kicking myself ever since.

Like Audiophon, I also saw Michael Jackson on the Bad tour. It was at Market Square Arena, and his entire family was a couple rows in front of me. I agree, it was the best show I have ever seen as well. And, I was lucky enough to have seen SRV twice...the first time was front row center!

The drummer in me says bring back John Bonham, but my heart and soul say Bob Marley. His Legend album is by far the most played in my collection.

that Wolfgang guy......

likely could play a mean electric guitar or anything else you gave him.

it is early Sunday morning so I'm in my chamber music mood.

The wife would say Elvis, me a few. Hendrix (again) Lennon and Harrison making the Beatles whole. But, I never got to see Gary Moore one very underrated guitarist, so I'll pick him

From the choices above...Hendrix.

And not from above, SRV [emoji106]

Great question - would have to say a Beatles reunion would top my chart!

But how about this: Jim Morrison, Mama Cass, Janice Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and all of those other great ones who OD'd, plus we can't forget Jerry Garcia doing 100 encores with all of their greatest hits, ending of course with "Ripple" or "Brokedown Palace." And my dog (and best friend) Charlie who passed away last October would be sitting next to me at the concert :-( - we'd be eating popcorn together . . .
