So...I've been giving, some serious thought...to a C-J ET250S; to go along with an ET3-SE I have right now, and have taken a shine to.

OTOH...I really want this, to be the last pre/power I buy; at least for some time (what time that is for me, who knows; but let's at least call it a "pit stop", if not a destination ;)

Point being...I also, really dig ARC kit; and someone pointed a hybrid they have...that I wasn't aware of at all. The HD-220.

What's an audiophile, looking to settle-down...to do?

C-J ET3-SE/ET250S

or...ARC LS-2X.HD-220?

Well...we know, how I made this a moot issue; right? ;)

Buy another Belles if the Classe didn't work for you. They are your go to amp so go back.

WOW; someone really pays attention, to my swapping!

Yes...just as I consider Dynaudio, to have been my first, true "hi-end" speaker; the Belles amps, provided that break-through as well.

A friend...whose ears I trust; has heard, and could probably own, any amp...up to around the $10k mark. And he refuses, to part with his MB-200 monos.

That's gotta count for something :)

Oh, FWIW: the seller of the 2550SE...had a 2500A, as did I (twice :), before it; and said they bought an ET250S, because CJ didn't have a true SS at the time. While they liked it...they said it just didn't have the punch they wanted; and when the 2550/SE came out, they jumped all over it...and it certainly provided the punch they were looking for!
