What is a good way to transfer music to a Walkman?

what do you mean by "Walkman"? Walkman used to be portable CDP or cassette which were obsolete by the iPod and similar devices.

Maybe not the best way when I had a mp3 player I used Windows Media Player. Actually I still have a Sansa Clip that still works, must be 20 years old or so. Unfortunately my current computer doesn't have WMP so all I can do is charge it and live with the music that is still on it. Back when I ripped tracks from my CD's onto the computer then transferred to the mp3 player. I did buy a few tracks from Amazon.

Now I think people mostly download music onto their phone from whatever streaming service.

What do you have?

There is a current Sony Walkman. Now a portable digital audio player. I had one a few years back. I never had issues with moving files to the Micro SD card via plugging in the device to any computer, PC or Mac. There is a specific Sony “OTG” cable needed though.

Why with dubious intentions? I came with good intentions. Maybe someone had experience, so I decided to clarify.
