I have been on vacation since last week...go back Monday but most of the time been pretty lazy...except today.

Day before Thanksgiving the Maytag dryer went on the fritz...only 2.5 years old. Everything lights up, dings, etc. but no activity. Called for service (we have a contract) and soonest they can get here - Dec. 10th....WTF.

Our friendly service guy left us a 12 page debug guide last time he was here, followed the steps, found it was an Input thermistor. also with the guide, too apart the dryer, found the part, $29 from repairclinic.com (love that site)

what else ? Helped my wife and we put up the house Christmas lights...two ladders but we have it down to a science now...

Not enough ? Put a car for sale on Craigslist, had two calls and one guy on his way...

so sort of makes up for the rest of the week of lazy...LOL

Time to buy another car, feed the cat, clean the chimney for Santa, do your Christmas shopping for the kids, and for the friends, and for everyone else around, time to do the dishes, dust the floor, vacuum the carpets, shine the bathroom, get a new pair of jeans, cowboy boots, a new sport shirt, adjust the brightness control on the TV, put the garbage by the road for tomorrow morning pickup, get the dog's poopoo from the lawn, buy a snow shovel (last year one was made of cheap plastic), do your jogging, yoga, take your pills, drink milk, and go to bed again so that tomorrow morning you can do it all over again with some' new to do, and with different flavors (variations).

Umm...Nope...that's enough activity for this vacation...LOL

Actually, have to go to the bank to pay off the loan, clear the title....I tell you, I never get any rest..LOL

It's an art to be retired, to surround yourself with peace and no stress. ...It's truly living when you love yourself and everything around, even people. :) ;)

A busy day can be relaxing too, depending on your level of smooth management stress-free factor.
