I would doubt that Shindo uses anything but a turntable to fine-tune and voice his system and I know all of you will say drop the CD player.

However I do have about 3,000 CD's and it's about the music. right ? :)

So which CD Player would go well with the Shindo gears ? I preferred with SACD Capable.

Does Esoteric K03 will be good idea or save some money go with OPPO ? OR ?????

Take a look at the EAR Accute. Best CD player I've ever heard. Looks cheap as heck though....but the sound....oh boy.

I have a friend with Shindo electronics and he really likes the sound of the Cary 306 SACD player. It's no longer offered new, but they sometimes come up used at great prices. Its original retail price was $6K and then went up to $8K US.

Paul,
I have had great results like Alberto with my McIntosh MDA1000 and Shindo but my AMR DP777 was even better.
Digital shines with Shindo.

Hmmmm...sounds good. I got a check it out. Wondering if its a Tube based CD player.

Without the SACD I really like to buy this Wadia 850.

The Cary 306 SACD player does not use any tubes. After some further investigation it seems that the preferred version is the Cary 306 Professional SACD player which retailed for $8,000. It has digital inputs as well so it can also function as a DAC supporting resolutions up to 24/192 (no DSD file support other than from SACD playback.) Positive Feedback has a nice review which covers much of the circuitry design choices as well as having some photos showing the exceptional build quality. I just did a search on HiFiShark and there is currently one of the original versions available in black listed for $2,150.

I have about 3700 titles (many of them multi disc sets) on CD and so a quality player that would also sound good with the CD layer of SACD's was important to me and I would say that the Line Magnetic 515 fits the bill. Not cost prohibitive and probably a natural match with Shindo.

Thanks I will check out tonight

I was under the impression there were laws against having a digital source in a Shindo system. :trouble: :trouble:
