We lost a family member yesterday...

Apologies for missing this. I’ve now held five of our dogs while they passed, and it doesn’t get easier. In this case, your story hits me hard as my childhood dog was named harpo (but, it was a she, and I still miss her).

Charles.......Just saw this thread today. Very sorry for the loss of Harpo. As tough as it was, you made the right decision to end the suffering. Losing a family member is always devastating. May Harpo rest in peace.
