Wavac EC300B with Passive Pre

Do we have any current or previous owner of this beautiful amplifier? ( And Passive Pre ) If so please tell me about your experience, was it sound warm or lean? I heard some mixed information. $40,000 USD combo makes me lot to think

When poking around in Wavac during my AG early days I had a hard time figuring out if there was reliable distribution stateside (which sorta answers its own question). Now that Mike has Viva and Luxman in the 300B bag I’m not sure it’s anything I want to pursue further but let us know if your enquiries determine otherwise.

The EC-300B is not sold in Japan any longer. It is only sold as an export and the Japanese users import them from the US. I don't know the reason for this, but this is what it says on the Japanese site and in the Japanese forums.
