One of the very, very few ocasions to see Manuel Huber in person. The guys is extremely knowledgable as far as vinyl is concerned and great fun to listen to.

For over 20 years in this hobby, I didn't have a chance to listen to FMA gear, and this year I have heard it not once, but twice ! (first time in Munich)

Interesting thing about those pyramid shaped FMA speakers is that they do not have passive crossovers (at least not between bass and mid section) and drop down to a scary 0.6 Ohm. As Manuel have said - we let them drop. We do not want to use any impedance compensation as that, just like the passive crossover stores energy and distorts the sound.

Agreed Adam,

Manuel was refreshing and eloquent in his presentation (very skillful presenter) and his knowledge seems bottomless about audio. The de-clicker in his phonostage is stunningly good at removing the audible impact of vinyl scratches. One has to hear it to believe.

Funny thing for Manuel and for Thomas and I is that we are all Swiss based but happen to meet up in Warsaw! Manuel NEVER presents in Switzerland, so the joke was that we had to meet him abroad. Perhaps he will make a social visit to Geneva next year. His gear is expensive, but oh soooo good.

Thanks for your great hospitality! Incredible show you have there in Warsaw...one of the best in the world for sure.

Thanks, and I hope, that You'll come on next Audio Show too. Adam is hardly working on returning to 3 days show idea (more time, more press listening sessions, etc... ) .

Thanks for the thread and great pictures.

What types of music did they Demo using all this nice Gear?

Hopefully someone had the sense to play some Local to Warsaw, Riverside!
