Wadia monos

Anyone have any experience with Wadia amps, particularly the A340 monos?

Very little info online... introduced in 2014 and apparently just discontinued. Supposed to be proprietary class D.

Just wondering how it compares to others, and especially other class D.

not sure but wadia have had a lot of exposure on forums with problems with their cd players

why buy something from a company whose amps are not well known but renowned for beautifully built cd players

there is so much choice from other companies whose expertise is amps like pass , grandinote, msb , luxman etc

Yeah, more curious about them than anything. And what makes their class D proprietary and potentially different-sounding from others.
They weren't cheap... guess the amps didn't sell well, so they got discontinued.

I don't believe thay have used their proprietary technology here. I bet they used some OEM module like they did in the Intuition model.

That could be. I only found one review of the amps, and the reviewer mentioned it being proprietary to Wadia. There were no pics of the internals, though.
