Can anyone help me? I’m looking for a simple volume adjuster to go between my tube amplifier and speakers. I want to save wear and tear on my tube amp volume pot and I bought one from Amazon and I had to turn it 95% of the way to hear anything and all the way (100%) way too loud. I sent it back and replaced it and the same thing happened. Can anyone steer me to one that works. Again I need no amplification, just volume adjustment.

If you are using a streamer as your source, are you able to utilize the variable out ability on that?

ETA: also it's not good for pots (such as volume) to stay in one place for long period of times - they can get staticky.
