Anybody has experience on how these two Danish Class-A amplifiers compare in sonic terms?
Specifically interested in Vitus SS-103 vs Gryphon Antileo Evo. Both extreme designs with similar price range (in Europe at least).

Hi nextlevel

I think Mike has the Vitus on display, and 6moons just reviewed the new Gryphon

I do. The SS-103 is absolutely fantastic. It has SET like tonality and richness, with solid state leading class bass definition and extension. Bass is fast and tight, not something you normally associate with class A operation. The midrange is focused, very focused and beautiful with a hint of bloom. The top end is extended, with a slight sweetness. The SS-103 has a massive soundstage and dynamics that defy its modest, obviously, conservatively rated power specs.

I am pairing the SS-103 with the SL-102 mk2 preamp.

Yep, experience with both......... Both are outstanding amps. You can see what I own in my sig. Feel free to PM me if you want more details.
