Price range on SIA-030, Mike? This could be ultimate class A IA that can drive any speakers if the size is any indication.

$30k ish without DAC. Q4 availability. Price is still TBD.

Tried to check on their web site, no data yet. Specs?

Maybe a little more class A power than SIA-025?

Yes, of course [emoji3]. I am hoping for something less incremental though...

SS-103 is replacement

Not really, as the SS-101 had volume control and could be used as an integrated. The only limitation was that it had only two inputs. It was double the power of the SIA-25. SS-103 is a regular poweramp.

The upcoming SIA-030 looks very much like the SS-101 + it has a DAC and additional inputs.

From what I hear ...DAC only option. No phono. But designs and price still not finalized.

And it was 45k ish... US. Similar in price and power to normal stereo amp just with volume control. 30w is most likely IMO class A of course if it will truly be in the 30ish price range.

Nice looking gear

Does Vitus Class A slide into AB after the 25 watts (more like Pass)? I know its listed at 25A/150AB, but have seen someone post that you choose Class A mode.

So is that the SS-101 replacement ?

Yes it would seem so , the SS101 has the inbuilt pre which is better bypassed . This feature was done away with in the 102 , 103 . It was more a convenience feature . So it seems a fallback in the SIA-30 , possibly with a better pre section .

The SIA-030 isn't intended to be a replacement for the SS-101. As Mike said, it is intended to augment the SIA-025 Mk2. Therein the model designation indicates where it sits in the Signature series product line. The chassis won't be as big as the SS-101, more like the size of the RI-100. And power specs will be somewhere in between the SIA-025 and SS-103 (ie: around 30 watts class A and 200 watts class A/B; hence the '030' designation). This new amp should draw on the latest circuit design from the SM-011 mono's, SS-103 and SL-103 (incl: Intelligent Class A bias) & will be unquestionably one of the best ss integrated amps in the world when it is released...maybe the best :audiophile:.

The pic Mike posted shows amp in SS-101 form factor, not RI-100.

The RI-100 is only slightly taller than SIA-025:

Well now here we have a dichotomy between the horses mouth, and the horse's Dealer's mouth. And I did say "more like the size of the RI-100", not "exactly like the size of the RI-100"..
