Are your sure that there is no star ground to the chassis?

If that is true how does it pass the strict import restrictions and inspections for electronic goods in countries like Australia and others where it is sold? Just because it is not visible from the outside doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Where did you get that kind of information from?

The ground pin in the inlet is empty.
the amps body has no ground in any case
theres no connection between the electronics and the body
