Hi I would like to use my U1 Mini with 2 DACs
A DAC for my speakers - Marantz ND8006 / Marantz PM8006 with B&W CM8
and a DAC/amp for my headphones - Sony Z1HES with Sony MDR Z1R headphones

The 2 DACs have only USB/COAX/OPT inputs

1- I am thinking about feeding the 1st DAC with a coax RCA cable and the 2nd one with a BNC to COAX cable (see below)

https://www.son-video.com/article/a.../atlas/hyper-dd-integra-digital-rca-bnc-0-5-m

Do you think my choice is a wise choice?

2- Since I don't use the 2 DACs at the same time. Maybe I can consider feeding one DAC with USB and the other with COAX instead of using the 2 COAX outputs (BNC and RCA)

Do you think my choice is a wise choice?
Is there is any disadvantage of using 2 digital outputs at the same time in Lumin eg RCA and BNC COAXs?

Thanks for help

The U1 Mini's digital outputs can all be used at the same time. Just make sure you have enabled the ones you want in the device settings via the Lumin app.

When using a USB audio output, the other outputs will not have correct timing.
Only when USB audio output is not connected to a USB DAC, then the AES / BNC / RCA / toslink can all be used.
