Type of Soundbar with Bad Placement

Hi!
I have a projector and want to buy a Sounbar. I have some limitations placing it and I'm not sure how sound moves on different Soundbars and the problems I may have.



I have to hang it from the air conditionner (1 meter to the right of a wall, 5 meters to the left of another, and 10 meters behind the couch another.

What Soundbar would be better in this situation?

- few front speakers (ie. 2 channels Denon DHT-S216H)


- many around speakers (ie 13 channels Harman Kardon Enchant 1300)

The HK and I would put it on a stand below the screen. Not above.

I cannot do that Mike, I have young kids that are going to break it... Will it be a problem if I tilt it to face the couch? You don't think I'll b having problems with the wall to the side if you chose HK then? Thanks!

Hi,

I'm not up to speed on Soundbars. I use a simple Martin Logan under my TV - all I need and want.

However, I would think hanging a soundbar from an AC could give you some negative effects, like vibration, possible condensation, etc.

The yamaha ysp 5600 is the one I use for the 'busy room'. It comes with a mic and a few options, wired or wireless sub connection, etc. I got 15 years from the ysp 1 demo I bought ans expect at least 20 years from the new model.
