Has anybody had first hand experience with both these manufacturers power cords?
Obsession vs Sigma analog
Ten+ vs Alpha analog
TWL digital vs Alpha Digital

Thoughts appreciated

If this is any help my friend uses TWL power cords, we compared the TWL to a Clarus Crimson. The Clarus cost was several times more and a heavier cord, like the Clarus was for a power amp and the TWL for preamp or other components. The Clarus was better but I was impressed with the TWL at how well it did, meaning coming much closer than I thought it should have. I also was surprised that both had similar character, whether that was from both being in the same system or just a coincidence, whose to say. Based on that showing I personally think the TWL would be tough to best at it's price point. He also had some other power cords, I can't remember the name, they were big not long ago as being a "giant killer", anyway the TWL made those sound really bad by comparison.

Sorry, I have no experience with Shunyata products. Maybe try buying from a source that allows for returns, do a shoot out. Let up know :)

Pete has a 30 day money back policy so pretty easy to try TWL products. Very rare to find them on the used market and if so they don't stay there long. You might want to try Audiocircle.com. More likely to find users that have tried both there.

For those interested and looking for some reading entertainment, Triode Wire Labs received two recent professional reviews on their cable looms... one last week from Positive Feedback here... http://positive-feedback.com/reviews/hardware-reviews/triode-wire-labs-cables/
In summary, “My notes were quickly set aside. Rather than jump from track to track, I found myself listening to entire albums—which is not the norm for my evaluations. Regardless of the music genre, there was a certain correctness of presentation that just had me mesmerized. Clearly, these cables provided an emotional connection. As you can tell, I am quite enamored with Triode Wire Labs and the cables reviewed here. As mentioned early on, you need to set the MSRP’s aside and properly manage your biases and expectations. Just sit back, listen and take it all in. For some, these price points might be a big attraction. For others, these price points might push you away. I know, I know, if something sounds like it’s too good to be true, it usually isn’t. For the folks in the later category, you are missing out on a wonderful opportunity.
I do care about what I feel. I need that connection to the emotion and passion that music can provide when properly presented. Triode Wire Labs does that for me. I strongly suggest that you check it out. Highly recommended!”
Thank you, Robert!

"Julia Awards" were given on my speaker cables and interconnects, for their "high value for the dollar" as well as an "Editor's Choice" award on the Silver Statement and Obsession power cords, joining the "Seven Plus" series!
Thank you Scot for a fantastic review!

Have a Happy Easter, all,
Pete

I use the Obsession power cables for my amps and Lampizator Big7 and the Digital America for my Lumin U1.
I really enjoy the cables in my system.
