Tonian Speakers

I’ve been looking for a high-efficiency speaker to drive with low-powered tube amps and came across this brand. Has anyone heard them? I’ve read some nice reviews on AG. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Trying to keep it under $5,000 and used is fine.

Haven't heard the Tonian's but the Omegas are quiet popular and they all are under $5k. The XRS series is about 98db though they fall short of what the AG horns are capable of.

If you are looking for the iFi, then Omega would be a great choice. I was able to pair my demo unit up with a pair and was quite impressed - it was probably the best I heard the iFi sound. I would steer clear of Tekton if those are on your radar. They require more power even though they are efficient as there are a lot of woofers to control.

I was just getting ready to introduce myself above when I saw this thread . The Tonian's , Tekton's ( which I presently own ) , Omega's , AG , Decware and Bottle Head are all very good with small amps . All of these speakers ( with low power amps ) can get you the wonderful midrange that most large amps and speakers with complicated crossovers cannot do .
