I've enjoyed the Jesse Stone Novels as well as the CBS Produced TV episodes.
The music on the TV shows, introduced me to Jeff Beal, who has become one of my favorites.
I've been trying to purchase the Soundtrack, but used CDs are $150 or more.
I eventually send an email to Jeff Beal and he was kind enough to respond (or at least someone did in his behalf)
Bottom line as stated is that Sony simply will not re-release the music.
So, Mr. Beal provided me with a download link to the music for FREE! A $10 donation was suggested, which I gladly did.
so now I've got the soundtrack sitting on my desktop, in "high quality" MP3.
I've been trying for weeks now to get the nerve to pop it on the music server NAS. (All FLAC + WAV all the time!)
I just can't bring myself to do it. I just wish there were some legal way us high-rez folks to deal with these things. I'd gladly pay top $$ for a FLAC rip from the CD, but this is illegal by any measure. :bonkers:
