That looks nice, wish I could here that setup. I am planning a road trip to Northport, then on to Naples next March and I am trying to work in a few hour stop to meet you and see some of this gorgeous gear.

Maybe $10k is the package price, let me check my budget :) I wonder what it would be with two 170's, I like it loud on occasion.

Looks like using the MSB as preamp. That VAC amp looks nice, I really like the IQ system. Seems like a lot of higher end tube companies are going to auto-bias. A good thing in my book.

I was wondering about the amp pushing the A3, then I noticed they are 88dB with minimal amp rec of 50 watts. Shows Magico really put thought into the product. If the 4 ohms went much lower it could require an SS amp with sufficient current but not an issue with a transformer with a 4 ohm tap.

Yes, meant to say “Three pieces at $10k each”. Honestly guys, this VAC integrated is musical as hell on the Magico’s. With the MSB DAC Magic, it’s really superb.

Thanks Mike. Since I love my old CLA, I would probably love moving up to that at some point.

Before I forget, with the 170i IQ, make sure you always reverse the positive/negative at the speaker (or the amp). The polarity is reversed since there is only a single gain stage.
