Thoughts on the Krell S-1500

My three channel Proceed HPA-3 seems to be calling it a career. She is retiring and going to the Surround Sound Retirement Home to join her friends, the Shure 5300 and CORE remote control. She had a long life, energizing my three rear speakers since 1995.

I have the opportunity to get a used Krell S-1500 for the rear, for about the same price as many "cheaper" new models. Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this model? As you can see below, I am already using Krell amps for the front.
