Lets be sure we note the others: Besides Reed, Day and SRV, Ringo Starr and Joan Jett will be welcomed into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of the 2015 class of inductees along with influential blues bandleader Paul Butterfield, R&B singer-songwriter Bill Withers and, for the annual early influence inductee, doo-wop group the "5" Royales.

I always likes Paul Butterfield with Mike Bloomfield and Elvin Bishop playing guitar.
 
What has Green Day done to deserve Hall of Fame? They are a flash in the pan compared to an SRV and Lou Reed.

Elvin Bishop was awesome! Gotta put on my Travelin' Shoes.......

I would have voted to keep Green Day out.
