A few months ago I was thinking of upgrading my current amp to MKII but now I'm considering NC1200 as I'm sure my speakers need that extra power, especially as I do like to play quite loud at times.

I've seen a review on the Audioscience website and from what I can make out they were impressed.

I can afford to get the 'Signature' but do I really need all those extras? Any thoughts on this? Will getting the cheaper model still perform very well?

I'm also not sure about which Op Amp to choose.

At the moment I have the Sonic Imagery 994 installed.

I have this power cable connected to my Nord One SE UP NC500DM Stereo. I'm wondering if it will be alright for the NC1200?

A few things for me to think about.

I know the revision D is the current version and there was a substantial sonic difference between revision C when I changed in my Nord NC500. Maybe other forum members can chime in on the sound differences between the NC500 and NC1200 Hypex versions. Would the Nord Purifi version be more of a sound upgrade over the NC1200 to the NC500? I would send a message to Colin and get his input too, I know he once was a member here and posted often.

I've decided to upgrade my current amplifier to REV D and Sonic Imagery 990Enh.

Any idea (link in my original post) about the power cable I'm using with my amp. Is it good enough?

I can say switching to the JPS Kaptovator power cords on my 1200as based Nord amps was eye opening. I was somewhat of a power cord skeptic up until that point. Maybe Class D amps are more sensitive to power cords than other amps? All I can say is borrow alternative cords and try them out in your system.
I look forward to hearing what you think about the RevD upgrade.
