The fallacy of accuracy

Mike.......Thanks for the link to an interesting article. There is a measure of truth to what all of the contributors offered and in Steve Guttenberg's wrap up. For me, accuracy of sound is like beauty of sight. It all happens in the mind of the listener and observer. There are commonalities in what we refer to as good sound and many of us share similar experiences with our individual sound systems, but ultimately it boils down to each persons inner harmony being derived from their personal interpretations of a given musical event. Sound is as subjective as art. Add to that the individual characteristics of each person's hearing and sensitivities to frequencies and volume and the water can get muddy fast. I have built my sound systems to make one person happy.......me. What else can a person do?
