The Cable Company , what the heck ?? !!

I think if attach them to a stick, they will spin in the wind. In reality, I assume they just add a little dampening effect if placed on a piece of equipment. Other than that, I can't imagine what they do.

They make the component moist?

Even as a high-end cable "believer" that's definitely not something I'd buy, or even bother to try for free. But what's a cable & tweak retailer to do? They're already focused pretty heavily into the "I'll try anything" segment of the high-end market. Are they going to lose the business for this "tweak" and push out a philosophy of "here's the line where things stop mattering"? That's a hard line to draw, even for some manufacturer's offerings.

Is this any worse than a Bybee "quantum filter"? Many audiophiles love those, and some manufacturers have even included them in their upgrades & premium offerings.

hey Steve, you're alive ! good to hear from you !!

when did you leave Texas and move to the 'Springs' ? Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak right in your back yard !

Hi Dave! Yes, moved up here March 2020 and absolutely loving it. I can sit in my easy chair and look out the window and see Pike's Peak. I've now got a great space for the music system. If you're ever up this way I can offer you drinks and music.

Man, the things that they come up with :).... but those Bybee "quantum filter" thingies.... $600 each :roflmao:... seems reasonable to me :P.

This pretty much sounds like comments in other forums when anyone mentions Audiophile:
