I'll bet they contribute to a real 'syrupy' mid-range !

not to mention what ones 'middle' will look like, I just gained 3 lbs looking at the pics !

I always thought CE was "capillary electrophoresis"; well, it was when I was workin' at ABI developing molecular diagnostics PCR-based tests for things like familial hypercholesterolemia or hereditary non-polyposis colon cancer...😜

Really ?? they have it promoted on their site for one thing .......

"Enthusiastically suggested for in-home audition through The Cable Company Library."

So they believe in it. It would be interesting to know what percentage of people buy it after the in-home audition, but I doubt that information would be shared. Either way, IMHO this item is merely part of the large segment of dubious audiophile tweaks and accessories.

Exactly, kinda like those stupid 'magic pebbles', can't for the life of me see how anyone could be silly enough to buy into that nonsense !

Blue Fox's point is still valid. And, as mentioned it's in the lending library, I'd think someone must buy them or the CC wouldn't keep offering them. Even if the company didn't reimburse shipping there is still the cost of a person filling the order and receiving returns. So you wouldn't be in business long without sales.

So wecan assume at least some validity or they can be thankful for mass delusion. :)

then perhaps you, Bud and his cat all drink from the same bottle ! :sigh:

the only one delusional enough to buy them would be the same individual that believes cables to be more important than speakers / room in the pecking order of system set up.

Pardon my ignorance, but after reading the ad itself, I still have no clue what these are supposed to do or what you do with them.

Not bad those, sweet bottom and top end, but lacking in the mids [emoji6]

I think if attach them to a stick, they will spin in the wind. In reality, I assume they just add a little dampening effect if placed on a piece of equipment. Other than that, I can't imagine what they do.

hey Steve, you're alive ! good to hear from you !!

when did you leave Texas and move to the 'Springs' ? Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak right in your back yard !

simply absorb bad energy and convert it to good energy, WHAT ! Good booze and/or some medical weed can help with that.
:D

But it does sounds like a Kelly Hero's skit 'Those negative waves , impacting an outcome.
