Anyone had the chance to give this table a listen company is TechDas they seem to have a new version comming out as well , sat down at a friends and WOW ,! Seriously considering it . Bit of a beast but one hell of a setup with the platter vac kit . The supporting system probably helped as it's one of the best I know of and the arm was a 1/1 custom phantom made and installed by bob , still among the best I have ever heard .

It was the best turntable decision I have ever made and hopefully my last.

Scratch that , I think you did get it from my bud , he has mentioned your name "Rockitman"
In conversations ..lol

Christian- the Clearaudio was no slouch of a turntable! Know there's different arms, cartridges, etc. involved but how would you describe the difference between the two tables?

AF1: noticeably lower noise floor, bass performance is more solid and articulated, more speed accurate (clearaudio no slouch). Flat records w/o using a outer ring clamp. As you know when your getting in the upper tier of TT's the law of diminishing returns kick in. Build quality and engineering is second to none, IMHO.

Christian-Your tape deck avatar would look cooler if you had a reel on the other side and a tape spooled up. Right now it kind of looks like a car missing a wheel.
