TAS recognizes this combo as AC Power Conditioner of the Year! Once again, congratulations to Caelin and the Shunyata Team!

PS - Hardcopy. No link available yet.

For those with a Triton III, I eagerly await your feedback.

Are there any experiences from Everest users on the effect of the grounding connections for components?

Typically, establishing common ground can improve a system quite a bit. But I have heard mixed reports about the impact of the grounding via the Everest.

Someone correct me if wrong, but I think the grounding on Everest is a chassis ground, not signal ground.

And since my components are all powered by the Everest via the AC cords, and all of them have the ground pin active, such chassis ground is already present, and I don’t personally see a need to further ground them using CGS ports on my Everest. Although I am tempted to try.

I’m referring to grounding the components, not the signal. It’s not established through connecting power cables to the same power conditioner.

I’m however not the right person to discuss this with, as there are other people on the forum more knowledgeable about the topic. Kingrex works in the area, and is an expert on power and grounding. Better ask him.
