TAD Micro Evolution One

They could be great. I would personally advise on a demo just to make sure you'd love them. My CR-1's had some great qualities but were ultimately a little too "forward" for my taste.
 
Agree Joe, at that price point definitely a demo required.

I heard the Evolution Ones at Westdeutsche Hi-Fi Tage in Bonn earlier this year, and they gave a convincing performance. That was a show demo room performance though, so to be taken with a pinch of salt.

I was always greatly impressed by the CR-1's, they are really great sounding speaker with reference soundstaging capabilities.

I was a bit less impressed by the Evolution 1s I heard last year at the High-End fair in Munich, but I'm curious to hear the new ones!

In a small room with difficult acoustics the ME1 might be nice, we shall see.

Who are the TAD dealers in the US?

Can't seem to find a proper website that lists dealers.
