I didn't sell my gear, but I pulled it all out and placed it on the curb free for the taking. :(

I'm not selling my gear, but just not my liking. The guy has a decent voice, but I just can never get into the whole singer-songwriter genre.

I am busy watching all the full concerts of the Disco Biscuits at the moment on Youtube.

What a way to quickly edit. As I hit the Reply with Quote, your sentence turned into an image and I thought my browser went whacky. I didn't last a minute. But this is what I keep asking about on several forums, the fact that just about any single instrument and single vocalist will sound decent on just about any system. Jax is right, nobody needs a HE setup for that :)

And just who are you referring to? I listen to jazz more than classic rock and I buy new music constantly unless your definition of "new music" is artists that no one outside of their mother has ever heard of.

Why Joe, based on the ethos of AS, I'm surprised that you condone this type of behavior. Some people might become so offended/affected they would require years of therapy in order to recover and rebuild their ego.

Maybe JAX was telling you to STFU. Or maybe it was everyone who posted so far that doesn't like the song. I would keep my stereo system and move that song to the curb if I owned it.

opinions are like a-holes everyone's got one, to wit, you couldn't have asked a more opinionated bunch.:lol: I can take stripped down acoustic singer/songwriter stuff in moderate doses, but imho its a mistake to use it exclusively to judge the SQ of the boxes you swap:skeptical: I noticed the music in all of your vids share a common theme.

Sort of in the vein of stripped down audio porn music you hear at shows. Not very challenging and not much to go wrong in regards to putting a system through its paces and finding chinks in the armor.
