I had the strangest issue last night. I went to the spa for 15-20 minutes, came back in, and couldn't connect to the Lumin. I realized at that moment of the drawback to using a system controlled by a wireless app. So, I watched the HT for half an hour waiting for Comcast to bring the network up, but it was still down. Power cycling the modem did nothing. Finally, I got a paper clip and pressed the reset button in the back. However, even that didn't seem to help at first. Then finally, an led flickered. At last, the wireless was working, and I had music again.
It would be nice to include a web server, and web app, in the software to handle times when wireless isn't working.
While not related, I notice that the latest version of the app crashes a lot. I use an iPad Mini Retina with the latest IOS, and I leave the app open and the iPad sitting on a table. When I go to use it again I see that it has crashed for whatever reason. Personally, I think IOS is terrible. Chrome also crashes a lot, but that might be Chrome.
