Stereophile's Products of 2018

I found the explanation, why the Stereophile list should be special, quite snotty nose. After all, it is a vote among just a handful of audio writers, and as such a very small sample.

I see the Schiit Audio Yggdrasil DAC listed as a Finalist in Stereophile's Joint Digital Components category. I am glad to see Schiit Audio get a spotlight shown on their gear. The Yggdrasil really is that good.
 
Well, the Benchmark being DAC product of the year casts some doubt over their views on DACs IMHO. Nice DAC, but there are better.

Would be interesting. At least a somewhat larger sample, and from people who are willing to part with money for their gear.

It's a white powder stuff that was invented in Canada, we have a patent.
Then South America, Colombia (not British Colombia) tried to imitate that white powder stuff.
The rest is history; it snows in New York and El Chapo is also in New York right now, between his cell and the court house.

It's cold in Ontario right now. They don't have cold turkeys though. Our Thanksgiving was last month.
 
If we did a list, I think it has to be “new” products, maybe products within the last 18-24 months?

We can’t be calling the Quad 57’s the speaker of the year (even though they’re great)! LOL.

Some of the things in the Stereophile list are older than dirt.

They don’t award the 2018 Car of the Year to the 1964 Mustang.

Denafrips Terminator - Bespoke R2R DAC with (almost) the lot

There ya go - that should get the ball rolling & the tongues wagging...
Oopps - forgot 1 thing - a new thread please don't want to "pollute" the Stereophile thread..:D:D
