What amp are you going to use with these (hint I heard it from a super secret double probation source that Mr. Mike might be getting in the Blue Hawaii). You have got to hear them with that amplifier

And then get the Woo WA33 and the Abyss AB-1266 Phi TC... then you will have the best of both ends of the headphone camps

i've been enjoying the Stax 009S/MSB Select Electrostatic Headphone amp combo since March; pretty awesome sounding and a fun alternative to my big boy speaker set up.
there is something very intimate and special about the headphone musical experience at this level.
no plans to eliminate my room/speakers but i could imagine doing it and liking that direction.
I did make the decision to simplify my life by moving to a headphone set up. I haven't found the right amp / headphone / headphone technology combination yet but I firmly believe its out there waiting for me to find it.
