If you're referring to music file storage the U2 doesn't support internal drives, maybe you meant to ask about the L2.
The L2 supports connection of two internal 2.5" SATA III single partition SSDs in matched pairs. The installation video shows Samsung 870 EVO drives being used, and they can be either a pair of 2TB or 4TB drives for 4TB or 8TB of total storage.

I have a Samsung EVO 8TB SSD in my Roon Nucleus. I imagine the Lumin L2 could successfully utilize an 8TB SSD, but check with Lumin.
