Spec Amp - thoughts?

Has anyone had a chance to hear the Spec amp from Japan?
Looking for a final amp to drive Tannoys, either Cantebury GR or Westminister GR.

We tried a couple of their models here, sound wise ok, perhaps a little more presence in the HF region than I would have liked, their real flaw is that a high input voltage makes them spit and pop, really not good.
The NCores are really much better.

Hi Jim, have heard them briefly at a dealers' and again last weekend at a show. Liked them enough to consider switching my summerhouse amp from La Rosita to Spec.

The only caviot is the low power specs they have (no pun intended). The question would be whether they will have enough oomph for Canterburys or Westminsters.
