SpaceX / Dragon CRS-12 Launch from Cape Canaveral, Florida this morning

SpaceX conducted its first flight from the US Eastern Range following July’s scheduled maintenance stand down on Monday, with its Falcon 9 resuming operations to deliver a Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station.

But what did they film it all with? It was like another craft was riding alongside the rocket.

Yep that was the first of 3 launches from pad 39a. Plus, I think its mind blowing to watch the booster come back to earth and land, to be used again.


ps: we get to see every launch above the trees or from the beach.

Where I am you can hear and feel the sonic boom (and I'm 25-30 minutes driving time). I've also been at a bar/restaurant in Cape Canaveral right on the water when another launch took place from the Cape a few years back.
