Since getting the Lumin S1, upgrading my Triton and Cyclops to v2, and going all Sigma with my power cables, I have had zero interest in gear. All I do now is listen to music, and buy more music. My rock playlist of favorite songs is approaching 500 songs, and on random shuffle they always play in a good order.

Tonight, Saturday, everything is just perfect. I turned the amps on Thursday morning since I was taking Friday off, and now they sound perfect. I can't measure it, but I swear these amps need 48 hours to operate best. Sometimes even 99% of the way there isn't good enough. :)

I have been reading the forum threads but just can't get interested in gear discussions. I wonder if this is why some people drift away from audio forums. They are having so much fun listening to music that other discussions are just not important anymore.

Joe, the funny part is I feel like I should be buying something. LOL. I suspect losing that craving will be similar to quitting smoking, and just as beneficial.

I understand, enjoy it as long as you can.

I get to the point of deciding what I want next, then when I really think about it, I chicken out because I love what I have now. Let's see if I can keep control.

At least I still have the HT/surround sound system. Yesterday, I replaced the Mapleshade speaker wire with the new Shunyata Venom cable, and there is a difference. I suspect this is going to be a huge improvement once it settles in.

I agree.

After reading about the hugh improvements some people report about expensive PLCs and cables, I'm done wasting my time and money on that stuff.

Good for you Bud! Maybe there is something in the air! I had a great listening session last evening. After a great dinner cooked at home by my lovely wife, I went to my music room with a fab glass of wine. Parked myself there for a few hours and listened to some great music. It was one of those occasions in which everything sounded great.

Oh, I recently upgraded my Triton to V2 and have added some of the Sigma magic to my system as well. :D
