So...after 4-5 days I sold the unit ($10 loss..no biggie). Why ? Was it defective? did it not do as advertised? Nope, none of those things. Its an amazing little unit that I would recommend highly if you need it. But that's the thing, I didn't need it. It has a very nice DAC - clean sound...But know what ? I like my AUNE T1 Tube DAC better. Okay, so I didn't need the DAC.
It can copy any source (RCA, Optical, etc.) to your PC or play anything from your PC out.again, I don't need that. I came to the realization that if I do want to rip vinyl, going from my phono stage to the PC and using the software is just as good.
It has a phono stage for RIAA equalization so no phono stage needed (MM only). Again, I don't that. I have a Phonomena II for my Concept and MC cart and a good (I like it) MM phono stage for the backup pioneer.
In short, if you need any of these things and want a nice DAC to boot...its pretty cool. Otherwise, $80 you don't need to spend. It also proves my point that you don't need to spend $1900 on an even better unit that you don't need either. :snicker:
