Oh wait ! I do not have to tell her. I am a big boy !
I took the option of the dac and I will compare it to my AMR DP777.
Moreover if I want to sell it one day, a cd player with digital inputs is easier to sell than a single cd transport.

Jerome.......Congratulations. You will be impressed with the Simaudio MOON Neo 260D. The extra cost for the DAC option is a good deal. I gave the DAC option some consideration but decided to stick with my original purpose of adding a transport for the Yggdrasil DAC. I believe the DAC option may make the 260D more attractive if you wish to sell it later, but my research has shown me the pre-owned 260D transport only version also sells quite well. I don't plan to sell my 260D transport. With only 70 hours of break-in on it at this time, it is sounding heavenly with the Yggy. The cool thing is, if I want the DAC option I can always ship it to Simaudio for the upgrade.

Yes I hesitated a bit before ordering the integrated instead of the drive especially because adding the dac after is always an option and I already have two great dacs. But I am also curious about the sound of modern dacs and the price is really not a big deal.
The space is made so now I just have to wait.
