Silicon Chip Shortage

All NAIM Uniti products derived their chips from that factory. Now there is a 6-12 month wait....or more for NAIM Uniti products.

In Europe, all Denon/Marantz/Onkyo/Pioneer/Yamaha receivers are out of stock. Most of the distributors have just 3-4 models in stock. Onkyo/Pioneer have deeper problems.

There is also big shortage of Naim MuSo / MuSo Qb - basicly 3 months wait.

Not limited to just audio components at the moment. Just try to find the hardware to build a PC... Motherboards, maybe. But CPUs and GPUs essentially don't exist at any price or performance tier.

So, is this is one of the reasons , pretty much every high end audio company is increasing prices?

In some cases, drastic price increases.

Trade policies from a a previous administration now coming to fruition?

Any change in the market, weather it be tariff's, factory fire, silicon shortage, etc., gets passed down to the consumer via price increases. Always has always will. 😒
