Hello All,
For the sake of this broad topic. I'm not concerned about brands and or the combination thereof. However, I'd like to know in general what can I expect/look for from going from an internal amplifier to separates.
For example, let's say an INT with the same power ratings as it's respective stand alone stereo amplifier. A Pass INT-250 compared to a Pass XP-10 and a X250.8?
Sound quality wise. Does having a separate pre amp really increase the sound quality? With regards to having a separate power supply for each physical unit. The downside is of course the additional and required set of interconnects.
Thanks
