Before anyone asks - I use the APC S15's because 50 year old tubes do no take kindly to power outage/brown outs. A UPS is important in my situation. Our local power company is two hillbillies and a pickup truck and we constantly get power situations where it's on, off for 5 seconds, on again. Old tubes don't like that. No, no.

I hear you about intermittent power interruptions. Those short outages and inevitable surges that follow when power is restored are treacherous on everything electronic, especially vacuum tubes. I power my pair of MC2301's (16 KT-88's) with a PurePower 2000 which has battery backup. The tube power amps and solid state preamp never see those power glitches, nor does the N10 or the K-01X. Backup power is worth every penny.
