Hi gang, what kind of break-in time have you been experiencing? I figure I have 150 hours on mine. The bass is just starting to come out. I've read 300 -500 hours. Is that correct and what should I notice at certain points? I live in an apartment , so I can't really run them that hard for long periods. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

After 500 hours they will be getting noticeably better, after 1000 hours it's a big jump from where your at with 150 hours. This is just what I experienced.

Thank you very much Mike and David. I guess at this rate I should be good to go sometime in 2015! LOL Especially at the moderate volume levels I can listen. I am pretty happy so far.

I used an Isotek break-in disk today. It actually seemed to help a bit. Placement also seems to be pretty critical. I think I've finally dialed them in. I wish I could just run them 24/7, but with 2 noise complaints so far, I really don't want to push my luck. Thank you very much.

I wouldn't bother much with spiking or final placement until you reach that 1000 hour mark. They will change that much. Magico also recommends not to worry too much about placement until you get some hours on them.
