Does anyone know why this happens in Roon? You make a playlist and then the songs are not available. I’m logged into Tidal, QoBuz and our NAS, so that’s not the issue.

Mike, I have a playlist or two similar to what you show. I could never really figure out completely. But my guess is, the unavailable ones are looking for the files from external storage, which no longer is connected to Nucleus. At some point the same song from different media (storage and streaming) might have been played on the Nucleus. And when the playlist was created, Roon may have used/tagged the file from external storage.

Thanks. More Roon bugginess I guess.

Are the tracks available if you access them normally rather than through a playlist?

Does the problem occur with your playlists, shared playlists, or both?

All of the tracks shown as unavailable from your photo are from your NAS. When you created the playlist, Roon was connected to your NAS at a specific IP address.
Somehow, your NAS got disconnected from Roon and reconnected again but at a different IP address.
When playing the playlist, Roon looks for that track at the previous IP address but it can’t find it.
A couple of things to try: 1) assign a static (manual) IP address to your NAS ( that way your NAS will always be connected to a fixed IP address), and 2) make sure that your NAS share ( where your music resides) is automatically mounted to your computer when it is restarted.

Once you make those changes, you will have to re-add the tracks to your playlist.
